Confidential for Biology Students In Gilbert, AZ. (Here are the pages your school board is tearing out of your biology books.)

Posted by Dan Satterfield

Being a fan of Copernicus and Galileo, I understand well how it must feel to an author of a text book to have his work banned/destroyed by the political and religious leaders of the day. So for those of you taking AP Biology (and hope to pass the test and get college credit), here are the pages that will be missing from your biology book. I hope my fellow science bloggers will also post these, so that students will be able to find them easily. I cannot tell you if it’s true that students in Gilbert are hiding their books to prevent the pages being removed.

I believe that just two pages from this huge book are ok copyright wise under fair use. Plus, I think the publisher would like to have the missing pages available for the students.
