Our test starlink is working on the dock at high speed. This is quite exciting.
I can do these now. We are going to be cool, but last night was a sweat-fest. Lay in bed for hours (seemed like) and now it is nice.
ps omg, the Gouls of Clange are exploiting Texas. For a while, I thought there was a limit. In reality, this could have been well-called by an Artie watching the physics. However, they never went through the drills, even though the odds are greater than a west-coast tsunami. They should have had a clear path to high ground, and they would have had a reasonable warning, unlike those stupid billion-dollar earthquake early warning things.

Watch out with starlink... The app will give you the speed between the dish and the sats (usually around 360mbps) but a broadband tester will give you the speed between the groundstation and whatever ISP you've hooked onto which will be a lot less.
Saying that I'm watching TV via mine at the mo... And sending this and watching YouTube on my phone... in a forest, running everything via solar panels. Here in Spain it's 40€/month.
yes, sl gives 100 mbs and speedtest from the computer gives 0.3 But for us, this is a dancing bear. Not a very good dancer, but it's amazing!
ha, now speedtest gives over 50
And will there be any improvements to their emergency preparedness? Ha!
