Monday Geology Picture: Chapman’s Peak Nonconformity, South Africa

This week I thought I’d share a picture of my favorite nonconformity: the nonconformity between the ~550 million year old Cape Granite and the ~450 million year old Table Mountain Sandstone Group here in the Cape Town area.
