Foerstephyllum Coral Fossil
A reader recently sent me some images of a colonial coral they found while digging in their yard. It is a Foerstephyllum coral fossil. It dates to the Ordovician Period and was found in Jefferson County, Kentucky USA. I have found similar corals in this same area.
