Cold air being squeezed towards us

This is fun physics.  Think of the cold air being a thick mat of jello.  It's being squeezed on both sides by high-energy tropical plumes.  Then it hits us. No polar vortex, that has been proven to have insufficient energy to push the jello. ps.  look at that nice river flowing beneath us. pps.  no ocean current maps yet.  Very warm water is now dripping down the snout of S. Am.
