Linear storm now twice the length of previous

 Who knows what this means, but with earthquakes, the total energy is directly proportional to the length.  This goes from Texas to Lake Superior.If it travels over Toronto like a train, we'll see something.  One mitigating factor might be the speed of the express train.  The faster a storm moves over a place, the less the snow.  Let's hope.
