Paleoseismology and the Recent Japan Earthquake/Tsunami

In August 2010 Dr. Masanobu Shishikura’s and colleagues published a paper documenting the recurrence of earthquakes and deadly tsunamis in the Sendai area of Japan. He had a March 23rd appointment to explain his research to officials in Fukushima but his plans were changed by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami.
